Hello, and welcome to my website!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Plant Biology Department and the Ecology, Evolutionary Biology & Behavior Program at Michigan State University working with my advisor Doug Schemske.

My primary research interests are in evolutionary ecology and genetics. Currently, I am studying patterns of species formation in the genus Mimulus. Mimulus is a fantastically diverse group of Western North American wildflowers with a rich community of fellow researchers and emerging genomic resources. I am also very interested in broad-scale patterns of biodiversity, especially the influence of speciation rates on those patterns.
